From time immemorial, humans have been fascinated by the largely unexplored vastness of the ocean. “The sea,” wrote Jules Verne, “is everything". It covers seven-tenths of the terrestrial globe. Its environment is peaceful and calm. It is an immense desert of exploding colours, where man is never lonely, for he feels life stirring on all sides. Therefore, as we progress into a new millenium, the advent of technology has undoubtedly equipped mankind with both knowledge and skill to enter unchartered bounderies. This unexplored beauty serves much potential in providing us with a place to call home and we can now dream about a world much greater than our own.
